Will the Senators Respond?
I asked all 100 U.S. Senators the following question:

There are a number of bills before congress concerning health care insurance. All of the proposed bills contain a provision which requires individual Americans to purchase qualifying health insurance.
Please provide me with the specific clause of the U.S. Constitution which authorizes congress to require anyone to purchase a product of any kind.
Follow their responses to me here, or on Twitter

Sen Lamar Alexander Responds
Sen L. Alexander (TN) responded to my question about mandatory health insurance by talking about climate change!? Obviously he or his staff did not answer question, if he even read it.

Not a Constituent
The following Senators responded by writing that they only respond to questions by constituents: Lieberman, Shelby, Spectre, Feinstein, Graham, Feingold, Bennet (CO), Boxer.
While it is understandable that sheer numbers prevent them from responding to everyone, the matter of upholding your oath of office is a responsibility to every American, no matter what state they live in.
